Applicants for Seiko 5 Sports With 5 snaps Campaign (hereinafter referred to as “the Campaign”) that Seiko Watch Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “Seiko”) implements using Instagram shall carefully read and agree to these [Terms of Use ] (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms of Use”) and the privacy policy of our website.
If you apply for the Campaign, you will be deemed to have agreed to these Terms of Use and the privacy policy. Seiko will give a notice to the winners by posting comments from its Instagram account (@seiko5sportsofficial) to the winners’ posts to display the images of the entries on Seiko’s sites.

TERMS OF USE

(1) Applicants represent and warrant that they own all rights in or to the images, videos or articles in the entries (hereinafter referred to as the “Images”). By participating in the Campaign, Applicants acknowledge and agree that any rights in or to the Images, including but not limited to ownership, copyrights or the rights defined in Article 27 and 28 under the Japanese Copyright Act, are assigned and transferred to Seiko. Applicants shall unconditionally waive all moral rights they may have in respect of the Images. Applicants further agree that Seiko may freely reproduce, reprint, quote, edit, publicly present or transmit, distribute, offer to public by renting out, translate, reformulate, or otherwise use Images throughout the world without notifying Applicants.

(2) Applicants acknowledge and agree that Seiko may use the Applicant’s Instagram name in any manner in the Campaign website, Seiko’s official website or Seiko’s official Social media (hereinafter collectively referred to the “Official Sites”).

(3) Upon participation in the Campaign, Applicants shall not:
(a) Interfere with the operation of the Campaign;
(b) Commit an act that infringes, or may infringe copyrights, intellectual property rights, image rights, property, privacy or any rights of Seiko or any third parties (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Others”);
(c) Commit an act that cause trouble, disadvantage, damage or discomfort to Others;
(d) Commit an act that promotes obscenity, child pornography or the sexual exploitation of children, or act that offends, or may offend public order and morals;
(e) Post an entry that contains religious or political messages;
(f) Provide information, advertising or solicitation for commercial purposes;
(g) Commit an act that violates of Instagram’s terms of use or law;
(h) Commit any other acts which Seiko deems to be against the purpose of the Campaign or sees as breach of these Terms of Use;
(i) Commit any acts similar to the proceeding acts.
Seiko reserve the right to disqualify any Applicants doing the foregoing acts without notice and shall not be responsible or liable for any trouble, loss or damages arising out of infringement of third party rights or breach of these Terms of Use by Applicants. If an Applicant causes damages to Seiko due to his/her breach of these Terms of Use or rights infringement of Others, Seiko may claim reasonable damages (including attorney’s fees) from the Applicant.

(4) Seiko will operate the Campaign with the utmost care but makes no warranty regarding the completeness, accuracy, safety or usefulness with respect to the information, programs, service provided or any other matters related to the Campaign. Seiko will not be responsible or liable for any incurred loss or damages in case of the following:
(a) Accidents on software/hardware, such as fire, power outage, deterioration of the communication environment or other emergency situation when Applicants participant in or submit entries to the Campaign;
(b) Periodic or emergency maintenance of the systems used for the Campaign;
(c) Any dispute or trouble arising between Applicants or between an Applicant and a third party;
(d) Interruption, discontinuation or delay of service provided due to a third party’s interference with the Campaign service, information tempering or occurrence of some other defect;
(e) Inability to completely obtain information of the Images for any reason whatsoever;
(f) Information provided by the Campaign being misdirected or defective.

(5) Seiko shall not be responsible or liable for any trouble or damages incurred, either directly or indirectly, by Applicants to the Campaign. Seiko may change or cancel the Campaign, in whole or in part, or amend these Terms of Use at any time in its solo discretion without prior notice to Applicants in order to ensure the proper operation of the Campaign.

(6) Applicants under the age of 18 will require parental or guardian consent to participate in the Campaign.

(7) Posts on private accounts or posts without the designated hashtags will be disqualified.

(8) Applicants shall, at their own responsibility, manage any costs for connection to or communication with the Campaign.

(9) These Terms of Use shall be governed by the laws of Japan.

Guidelines on the Photos
- The Applicant must be in the photos. If the photo contains images of individuals other than the applicants, the applicant must obtain permission from these individuals before applying for this Campaign.
- By posting the photos with the specified hashtags, Applicants are deemed to represent and warrant that they have obtained consent from the relevant person of Seiko’s use of the image rights, copyrights or any other related rights in or to the photos.
- At the request of Applicants or third party, Seiko will remove the Images from the Official Sites. Seiko shall not be responsible or liable for the deletion of the Images shared on any sites other than the Official Sites.
- Multiple submissions of the same photo will not be accepted.

Look for the number 5 in your city, or places around you. Take a snapshot with the 5, showing your own fashion style.
We will recommend the Seiko 5 Sports that will fit the outfit you shared, so please upload a snapshot where you are not wearing a watch.

＊The snapshot or photo should be of the person applying for this campaign.
＊You can write or draw the number 5 on paper, or express 5 using your body or hands.

STEP3
Upload your own style on Instagram with both #with5snaps & #5sports_PH hashtags.＊PH stands for the country code. Please check your country page for the actual hashtag.
＊Those who are not disclosing their profile, or snapshots that do not have the hashtag will not be eligible for this campaign.
＊You can apply as many times as you like.
＊Photos or snapshots that infringe on other people’s copyrights, other rights, violate other people’s privacy, offend public order or morals, or contain religious or political messages will not be accepted.

After rigorous examination of the snapshots or photos submitted, several winners that fit the Seiko 5 Sports image will be selected, combined with an illustration by an aritist, and displayed with the account name in the LOOK BOOK on the Seiko 5 Sports official website.
