PROSPEX BUILT FOR THE ICE DIVER
DESIGNED FOR EXTREME ADVENTURES
The series pays tribute to the durability of Seiko diver’s watches in the coldest and iciest conditions and celebrates the 50th anniversary of legendary Japanese adventurer Naomi Uemura conquering Mt. Everest wearing a Seiko diver in 1970. The distinctively patterned dials, in gray, green, and light blue, evoke the brilliantly changing reflections of light on glacial ice.
BUILT FOR THE ICE DIVER
Seiko’s acclaimed 2007 automatic diver’s watch became an immediate favorite of collectors drawn to its rugged design features, such as the ultra-wide case and the distinctly thick printed numerals on its bezel. Today, this exceptional and beloved timepiece serves as the archetype for the Prospex Ice Diver series, offered exclusively in the United States.
EQUIPPED FOR THE ELEMENTS
Each timepiece is crafted of stainless steel with a sapphire crystal while the magnified date window and LumiBrite hands and markers provide enhanced legibility. These watches are powered by the long-lasting caliber 6R35 automatic movement, and the 200m water-resistant watches follow ISO standards to ensure the robustness required to meet the world’s greatest challenges.
