KING SEIKO
SEIKO SEINCE1881

KSK

The lasting design values of 1965.
The technology and engineering of today.

Launched in 1965, the KSK established
King Seiko's originality through its design.

The knurled index at 12 o'clock, reminiscent of certain luxury lighters, and
the sharp case design continue to influence models in the series.

Design

Case

Combined with the boxed-shaped sapphire crystal, the case is constructed for a slim and elegant feel. An anti-reflective coating on the inner surface of the crystal delivers high legibility from any angle. The bold, faceted lugs have sharp angles and wide, flat surfaces that feature both mirror and hairline finishing, creating a sense of precision.

Dial

The 12 o’clock index is more than twice the width of the others and has a patterned texture specially crafted to ensure high legibility. It endows the dial with a bright sparkle that invites the eye.

Case Back & Crown

The crown and case back bear the new King Seiko emblem, whose design was inspired by that of the 1965 KSK.

Bracelet

The bracelet pays homage to the design of the original King Seiko series and its many beveled surfaces reflect the light in a way that is dynamic and ever-changing.

Caliber 6L35

The slimline Caliber 6L35 has a power reserve of 45 hours and an accuracy of +15 to -10 seconds per day.

These three watches express the beauty of King Seiko’s roots in Kameido, Tokyo,
an area so fascinating that it was often depicted in ukiyo-e prints from the Edo Period.
Each dial expresses a uniquely Japanese pattern and a delicate gradation of color.

A deep red gradation expresses the beautiful blooming of plum blossoms, which are cherished as a fragrant flower that heralds the beginning of spring.

A combination of a wisteria-flower pattern and a soft light purple gradation expresses the famous wisteria of Kameido.

The turtle shell design symbolizes King Seiko’s roots in Kameido, and the deep blue coloring is inspired by the famous Sumida River, which flows through this district rich with significance to King Seiko.
