The Power Design Project returns.

Seiko Watch Corporation is pleased to announce the relaunch of the “Power Design Project,” an initiative that started in 2001 for Seiko designers to explore the essence of wristwatches and the possibilities of watch designs by showcasing their creativity based on annual themes. Thirteen years after its discontinuation in 2009, the project returns to propose new and unique watch designs unbound by pre-existing ideas.

The theme for this year's design project is REBIRTH. Seven watches from Seiko's rich archive are reborn with new designs demonstrating the creativity and imagination of Seiko designers. All seven "rebirth" watches are currently exhibited at the Seiko Seed in Harajuku, Tokyo, until 19 February 2023 (Sun.)
