Dive Against Debris®: The World’s Largest Underwater Clean-Up Movement
At the heart of PADI AWARE Foundation™ Marine Debris Program is Dive Against Debris®, the world’s largest underwater citizen science and cleanup initiative. Divers can take direct action by removing harmful debris from marine environments while collecting critical data that informs conservation policies and scientific research. With nearly 100,000 Ocean Torchbearers™ taking action across 120+ countries, this global effort not only restores underwater habitats but also strengthens advocacy to prevent debris at its source.
